Q1 kicked off in true winter spirit. From a snowy start (and even a snowman!), the quarter quickly gained momentum. Two new publications reinforced the value of the TIM® platform in in vitro GI modeling, while the TIM Colon took center stage at The Microbiome Times forum. A strong start to the year, setting the tone for what’s ahead!

One explores the broader impact of TIM in drug development through an independent white paper, while the other demonstrates how TIM delivers highly reproducible results across international laboratories—a key step toward more reliable, human-relevant research.

Spotlight on the TIM Colon

Q1 also put the TIM Colon in the spotlight. During the Microbiome Times forum, we had the opportunity to share insights into colon modeling and its role in advancing microbiome research.

Where to meet us next

While Q1 was about building momentum, Q2 is all about getting out there. With 10 conferences planned, the InnoGI team will be on the road again, ready to connect, share knowledge, and explore new collaborations.

We’re especially excited about our 1st InnoGI Gastro-Intestinal Modeling Conference, alongside several major industry events where you can find us with a booth, presentation or poster.

We kicked off the year with New Year’s drinks, celebrating together and looking ahead to what’s to come. When the snow arrived in January, we couldn’t resist building our very own snowman—BRRR-nard ☃️
And of course, we gathered again around food for our Easter breakfast, continuing. also in this year, food is a recurring theme.

Hi, I’m Katja! I joined the TIM® family 10 years ago. At first only fascinated by the world of nutrition, and an interest to study food digestion in an ethical way.
Working with TIM-2 has since deepened my curiosity about the gut microbiome, the tiny world inside and its huge impact on health. I am proud to see how TIM® contributes to products advancing health.
